This specialty stein is an authentic replica of an antique stein molded by Peter Duemler around the year 1880. This magificent stein features scenes from the old testament and is a tribute to Melchisedech, king of Jerusalem. He is praised for being the the first priest to use solely bread and water for sacrifices, denying the tradition of slaughtering of animals or humans. The top panel features Abraham being stopped by God's angel from sacrificing his son Isaac. The middle panel shows Melchisedech handing bread and water to Abraham to sacrifice them instead. On the bottom panel Melchisedech blesses Abraham. This stein is a Limited Edition with only 2500 steins being sold worldwide.
